Support Mental Health Care

The closer you get to a larger city the more money counties have to spend on handling homeless issues. We will never effectively rehabilitate and help the homeless until we commit to rehabbing and helping people with serious mental illness. Over 25% of the homeless population has a serious mental illness and we spend the most money on them. Without a comprehensive nationwide rollout of mental health care added to all legislature that expands healthcare access we will keep fighting a losing battle. Please join me, and send me to Washington D.C. so I can cut costs to local governments by making sure mental health problems are caught early and those with serious mental illnesses never have to live on the streets.
